Warranty & Jewelry Care

Warranty & Jewelry Care

At Luxe Carats, every piece is thoughtfully selected and carefully inspected before delivery. We stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our jewelry and remain available to help care for your piece well beyond your purchase. Fine jewelry is designed to be worn and enjoyed, and proper care and routine maintenance are important to keeping your piece beautiful and secure for years to come.

One-Year Limited Craftsmanship Warranty

Luxe Carats jewelry includes a one-year limited warranty beginning on the date of delivery. This warranty covers manufacturing and craftsmanship defects that occur under normal wear.

If a covered defect is confirmed, Luxe Carats will repair the piece or replace the affected component at no charge, at our discretion.

Lifetime Jewelry Care

Luxe Carats clients receive complimentary professional cleanings and jewelry inspections for the life of their jewelry.

Complimentary prong tightening is also included during the first year when recommended following an inspection.

Shipping costs may apply when jewelry must be mailed to Luxe Carats for routine cleaning, inspection or maintenance.

Caring for Your Jewelry

Fine jewelry should be treated with care to preserve its beauty and protect its setting.

We recommend:

  • Removing jewelry before exercising, swimming, showering, sleeping or participating in activities that may expose it to impact or pressure
  • Avoiding contact with household cleaners, chlorine, lotions, perfumes, hairspray and other chemicals
  • Putting jewelry on after applying cosmetics, lotions and fragrances
  • Storing each piece separately in a soft pouch or lined jewelry box to prevent scratching and tangling
  • Gently cleaning diamond and solid-gold jewelry with warm water, mild dish soap and a soft-bristled brush
  • Rinsing carefully and drying with a clean, lint-free cloth
  • Avoiding at-home ultrasonic or steam cleaners unless the piece has been professionally evaluated as suitable for that cleaning method
  • Having frequently worn jewelry professionally inspected every six to twelve months to check prongs, clasps, settings and overall condition

White gold may naturally require periodic rhodium plating to maintain its bright white finish. This is considered routine maintenance and is not a manufacturing defect.

What Is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear, including scratches or changes to the finish
  • Accidental damage, impact or misuse
  • Improper care or storage
  • Loss or theft
  • Loss of or damage to diamonds or gemstones caused by impact, misuse or damage to the setting
  • Repairs, resizing, alterations or other work performed by another jeweler
  • Damage resulting from failure to obtain recommended inspections or maintenance
  • Routine maintenance, including polishing, refinishing and rhodium plating

If a requested service is not covered under warranty, Luxe Carats will inspect the piece and discuss any applicable costs with the client before work begins.
